Sarah Chandler

Sarah Elaine Lee Chandler, 60, of Mansfield died Saturday, August 30, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born January 5, 1943 in Brocton, New York to Kenneth Charles and Sarah Worden. Sarah attended Brocton Central High School and graduated in 1961. She attended Marysville College. She was a Baptist and attended Community Bible Church and Salvation Army Church in Mansfield.

She is survived by her children, Denise Nelson, Ernest Reardon, Jr., John A. Chandler, Brenda Nelson, Sarah Chandler, Jr., and Melissa Anne Chandler; twelve grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Britney Spraggins; five brothers, Kenneth Worden of New York, George Putney of Mansfield, Bruce Putney of Cleveland, Tim Worden of New York and K.C. Worden of New York; four sisters, Diane Putney of Mansfield, Patty Worden, Cindy Worden and Pam Worden, all of New York; several nieces and nephews; two special nephews, Gary and Joseph Putney of Mansfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins in New York. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Putney; father, Kenneth Worden, Sr.; and the grandparents that raised her, Calvin and Blanche Saunders; and her uncle, Gerald Saunders.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
