Sharon Ann Smith

Born in Mansfield, Ohio on July 11, 1945 to Herbert and Birdella Beal Distl, Sharon attended Mansfield City Schools. Sharon married John A. Smith on June 9, 1979. She had worked at Mansfield General Hospital.

Sharon was a kind soul who endured a great deal during her lifetime. She loved to listen to music and be surrounded by nature with the sun shining and the birds singing. She also enjoyed being pampered by having her hair and nails done and dining out!

Sharon is survived by an aunt, Gladys Beal; nephew, Bob Ramsey and his wife, Belle, of Crossville, Tennessee; niece, Leona Darlene Creselious; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2016; parents; and brother, Denny.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Richard Beal will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to Prevent Blindness, 1500 W.
