Sheila Mae Shaffer

Sheila Mae Shaffer, age 78 of Mansfield Ohio went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on October 18, 1946, to the late Harold and Ellouise (Finley) Knecht.

Sheila loved watching NASCAR and the Cleveland Guardians. But most of all, she loved and gave all to her family and a laugh that was contagious.

Sheila is survived by her son Ryan (Stephane) Shaffer; daughter, Rhonda (Larry Lambert); grandchildren Corey Cathers (Alyssa), Brooke Cathers (Eric), Erik (Makenzie) Shaffer, Brandon (Destiny) Shaffer; great grandchildren, Emma, Colton, Karson, James, Bella, Bristol, Jackson, Brantley; and her brother Gary (Cheryle) Knecht.

The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. The service will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Kurtz officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
