Shirley retired as the office manager of Wells Fargo Bank after many years of dedicated service. Above all else, family was always first in Shirley’s heart. She was a loving, patient, generous, and understanding woman who cared deeply for those around her. Shirley cherished her husband and loved her family dearly.
In her free time, Shirley enjoyed knitting and reading, and she especially looked forward to her many vacations to Florida. She also treasured the time she spent with her card club, enjoying the friendship, laughter, and companionship it brought into her life. Shirley will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by her sons, William Buckley II and Christopher Buckley; grandchildren, Ashley (Steven) Buckley-Cole, William (Faith) Buckley III, Alexis Huffman, and Christopher J. (Lauren) Buckley; great grandchildren, Brenna, Holden, and Killian; many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Lynn Laughlin.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. Buckley, Sr., who passed on October 24, 2019; and brother, Ronald Laughlin.
A celebration of life commemorating the lives of Shirley and her late husband William will occur at a later date.
