Stephen Robertson

Stephen J. Robertson, 47, of Lucas, died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at his home. Born February 19, 1962 in Waukegan, Illinois, he was the son of Verril D. and Rita Ellen Bertwell Robertson. Stephen graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1980 and served in the United States Air Force. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and had a love for animals, especially his pets. Stephen also was a big fan of auto racing.

He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Erin and Andrew King of Hilliard, and Ashley Robertson of Cleveland; their mother, Jenifer Robertson of Shelby; nine brothers and sisters and their spouses, Larry and Karen Robertson of Danville, Pennsylvania, Paul and Dy Robertson of Howard, Ann and Bill Krinard of California, Bruce and Becky Robertson of Dayton, Sue Butler of Mansfield, Joan Robertson of Tacoma, Washington, Mark Robertson of Michigan, Scott and Yvette Robertson of New Washington, Lynn and Bruce Bolden of Boston, Massachusetts; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verril and Rita Ellen Robertson.

At Stephen's request there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Stephen J. Robertson.
