Stephen John Zemka

He was born August 28, 1953, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Kenneth and Ann Louise (Collins) Zemka. Steve was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from General Motors where he worked as a press operator. He was a member of the VFW and visited every day. He enjoyed golf, boating, fishing and most of all, spending time with his family. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Steve is survived by his wife, Ronna Murphy Zemka whom he married in 2013; stepchildren, Tonya (Shawn) Nolder and Brian (Linda) Thompson; a step grandchild, Logan Nolder; daughter, Stephanie (Jeremie) Burns; two grandchildren, Alisha Mullins and Clyde Hoffer; and three great-grandchildren, Arthur Mullins Jr., Noella Mullins and Jonah Whitmore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step grandsons, Garret Nolder and Brian Thompson Jr.; and a great-granddaughter, Elliana Vasquez.

A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:00 pm at the VFW Post #3494, 853 Ashland Road, Mansfield.
