Steven J. Mayer, 56, of Mansfield, died early Friday, May 10, 2013 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born July 20, 1956 in Galion and was employed at Broshco Fabricated Products. Steven enjoyed watching television, especially the westerns Bonanza and Gunsmoke.
He is survived by his daughter, Krystal Mayer of Hilliard; grandson, Gabriel Mayer; significant other, Debbie Howard; brother, Don (Brenda) Baldwin of Alabama; and two sisters, Peggy (James) Stevens of Mansfield and Nancy Mellott of Hilliard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Patricia (McCarthy) Mayer and his father, Don Baldwin, Sr.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mr. Mayer.
