Steven E. Wilt

Steven liked to keep up on Facebook and had many friends. Steven graduated from Ashland High School and Ashland County West Holmes Career Center. He thoroughly enjoyed his auto body and painting classes. He continued working on cars after his graduation with his dad, uncle and grandpa. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan through thick and thin. He attended Empire Church of Deliverance. Steven will be fondly remembered by his family, classmates, doctors and nurses for his wonderful spirit. He was loved by everyone who met him.

Steven is survived by his father, Steve Wilt; grandmas, Ruth Wilt and Charlotte French; his special mom "Mim Maynard"; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandpas, Richard Wilt and Floyd French.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Rev. Mitchell Prater and Pastor Jewell Lewis will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Franklin Cemetery immediately following the service.
