Stewart Wayne Chapman, 62, of Butler, passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Sunday, October 6, 2019. Born January 14, 1957 in Galion, Ohio, he was the son of Frederick A. and Lela Belle (Atkinson) Chapman.
Stewart was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for Smithfield Foods in Grayson, Kentucky for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing guitar and camping with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria (Jackson) Chapman whom he married December 9, 2016; his children, Jason Chapman and Katy Bowman; his step children, Robyn Wertman, Jesse Walker and Justin Walker; his grandchildren, Collin Bowman, Kaiden Bowman, Ashton Ewers, Elizabeth Ewers, Bryce Wertman, Julius Walker and Chandler Wertman; and a brother, Tony Chapman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no services at this time. Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Stewart Wayne Chapman.
