Summer F. Looman, 36, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on October 12, 2016 at OhioHealth MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield from complications of a long, hard fought battle of cancer. She was born on June 7, 1980 in Portland, Oregon.
Summer was raised by her adoptive parents, Ginger and the late Dale Gage. She moved to Ohio in 1998 and became certified as a STNA. Her passion was helping people and was known to be a "mother hen" to many. She also loved animals.
Summer is survived by her children, Lexi Sparks, Haleigh Gage, Xavier Gage, Karma Looman, Quinton Looman Jr., and Quade Looman; father of four of her children, Quinton Looman Sr.; mother, Ginger Gage; God mother, Bonnie Cochran; sisters, Charity Montgomery, Chelsea Gheen, and Teri Terwilleger-Brower; significant other, Brian Lunsford; best friends, Dawn Courtwright and Dawn Hoffman; and many close friends that she considered her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Gage.
There will be no services held at this time. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve Summer's family.
