
Susan Griffin, 48, died Sunday evening, November 23, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 28, 1955 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and was raised in Naples, Florida. She served in the United States Air Force for four years after which she returned to Naples. She became a highly skilled legal assistant and in 1998, relocated to Mansfield where she was employed by the law firm of Inscore, Rinehardt, Whitney and Enderle until her death. Both in Florida and Mansfield, she was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and provided assistance and inspiration to many. Her commitment to the organization and its members never wavered. She will be remembered as an independent and resourceful person.
Susan is survived by her two sons, Bryan E. Bahe and Shaun R. McCusker, both of Mansfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Debra Griffin and Jim and Diane Griffin; and nieces and nephews, Kristy, Daniel, Andy, Shannon, Troy, Amy, Leah, Tiffany, all of Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brothers, Christopher and Bob.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Friday, November 28 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Faith Proietti, will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Her ashes will then be transported to Naples, Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
