Sylvia D. Simmons Wilson, 91, of Mansfield, died Monday, December 07, 2009, at Twin Oaks Nursing Home. Born May 29, 1918, in Warren County, KY, she was the daughter of Granville Perry and Etta e. Jones Simmons. She was a member of East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are two brothers, G.P. Simmons and David Simmons; and three sisters, Violet McNeil, Ruth Scott and Elizabeth Youngsberg. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence O. Wilson; five brothers and three sisters.
Services will be held at Baca's Funeral Home in Deming, NM. Local arrangements are being handled by Wappner Funeral Directors.
