
Tammy Roush-Schofield, 33, of Lexington, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at The Ohio State University Medical Center after a brief illness. Born August 7, 1972, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Randall Lee and Saundra Ruth Ann Shasky Roush. Tammy was a 1990 graduate of Lexington High School and 1994 graduate of North Central State College with a degree in Radiological Technology. On September 19, 1998, she married Dan Schofield at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved spending her time with her family, camping, traveling and making crafts. She was an active volunteer at Western Elementary School. Tammy was a devout Christian and caring mother.
In addition to her husband of 8 years, she is survived by two children, Olivia and Logan Schofield; parents, Randall and Saundra Roush; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Tammy Roush of Lexington; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Kayla, Victoria and Scott Roush, Steven and Matthew Wilkerson; grandparents, Erma and Edgar Roush of Mansfield; mother-in-law, Kheo Schofield of Maryland; and three sisters-in-law, Kelly and John Wilkerson, Hanh Schofield and Sara Schofield, all of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Ruth Shasky and uncle and aunt, Robert and Dolores McCready.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, March 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Yogi Durbin officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
