I am sorry that we had to go through this. But god wanted her with him now. You all did what you could for her, but you couldn't give her what god can. She is better and happier up their. She had good times here with us and we will always remember them. You were the best parents in the world to her grandma and grandpa. Nobody could have taken better care of her. I love you all.

I am thankful that my loving sister is finally happy and normal. I know she is in a place that she will be happy for eternity.I think that is why I handeled it so well during these last few days was I know she is loved and cherished now as much or even more then while here on earth she has a lot of special people waiting for her with open arms to welcome her into heaven.I know one day she will be waiting there for me.
we had our bad and good days growing up but the good ones far outnumbred the bad ones. there is so much more I would like to say but can't find the words .
   Mom,Dad I love you two so much and want to thank you for being the parents that you are.

Dear Mom & Dad,
I want you to both know how very much I love you. I'm so sorry, if I can do anything please let me know. You both always worried about who would take care of your loving daughter, well now you know that she's in good hands. She left us all with some great memories... She had the best parents ! Evelyn, Mitch and Anthony my thoughts & prayers are with you all.Teresa loves you all ! Everytime you put a pair of socks on,may your heart think of Sis. Looking back I'm so happy that I got to share so many special times with Teresa and all of you. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. We will always be family !! God Sent to You an Angel

God sent to you an angel,
it had a broken wing.
You bent your head and wondered
"How could God do such a thing" 

When you asked the Father
why He sent this child to you,
the answer was forthcoming,
He said "Listen and you'll see." 

"My children are all precious,
and none is like the rest.
Each one to me is special,
and the least is as the best. 

I send each one from Heaven
and I place it in the care
of those who know my mercy,
those with love to spare.

Sometimes I take them back again.
Sometimes I let them stay.
No matter what may happen
I am never far away. 

So if you find an angel
and you don't know what to do,
remember, I am with you,
love is all I ask of you." 

Mom & Dad,
There's no doubt that God sent you Teresa knowing that you would do a better job of doing all involved in caring for her.  

He knew that you would do better than any of the rest of us.  

She's brought much laughter and joy, she's caused some agony and tears.  I pray that I've been the kind of parent to my children that you have been to us.  

I've never faced the challenges that God gave to you, but He knew you would face them better than me.

I love you both and I know your heart aches.  

I know this tribute is suppose to be for Teresa, and in a way it is.  But if it weren't for you,her parents, our parents, chosen by God above, she would have never touched our lives in so many ways.

I believe that God gave her to me as a sister to prepare me for my future husband.  See, He knew that when He gave her to you as a daughter, long before my birth, that my future husband would have a sister who was disabled too.  

He used her to plant understanding in my heart, because without her in my life I may not have understood. He knew, even then, that Dan was the one I was to spend my life with. 

I love her and I'll miss her, but I wouldn't change a thing, because without her and without you I wouldn't have become the person that God wanted me to be.  

I praise Jesus, between my sorrow and tears, that at last Teresa is whole and complete, living the life she always craved.  She wanted to be like us and I believe that Jesus heard and answered her prayers.
I love you both so much!!

My Dearest Family,
I don't know where to begin.  I want to write something but yet I don't know exactly what.  It has been a difficult time for us.  I love Teresa so very much, and it is hard to believe that she went home to be with the lord.  I know in my heart that she is happier there in heaven.  Down below I attached a poem that I have loved for years, and it has never touched my heart like it has now. Evelyn, Mitch, and Daddy, just know that you made many memories that Teresa will take to heaven with her, consider those memories a blessing to hold in your heart for eternity.  For those memories are Teresa's gift to you. Nobody else has those memories, and nobody can ever take them away from you.  Grandma and Grandpa, know that my prayers are with you, and they will always be.  Teresa couldn't have asked god for better parents.  You two were a blessing to her, as she was to you.  I love you all and take care.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say... 
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. 
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. 
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. 
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. 
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. 
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, 
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you." 
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone. 
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. 
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan. 
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man." 
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do. 
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. 
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight. 
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.  
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years 
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. 
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. 
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. 
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. 
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. 
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er. 
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.  
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; 
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time. 
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too... 
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. 
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, 
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain." 
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile, 
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile. 
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low, 
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go. 
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind; 
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. 
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free, 
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
