Terry Colegrove

Terry L. Colegrove, age 54, of 27 N. Walker Avenue, died Thursday evening June 14, 2001 at Ashland Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Colegrove was born September 26, 1946 in Mansfield, Ohio living in the Mansfield area all of his life. He was a welder for the Plumber & Steamfitters Local #42 for 34 years and was also owner/operator of Terry's Archery Shop. Mr. Colegrove was a member of Diamond Hills Baptist Church, Ashland Bow Hunters Club and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a very avid bow hunter and tournament archer.

Following a six month battle with cancer Terry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Colegrove; a son and daughter-in-law, Bryan & Darla Colegrove and grandson, Jared of Berea, Kentucky; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly & Tim Smith of Mansfield; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Rod & Robin Colegrove of Mansfield, Mark & Pat Colegrove of Marengo, Ohio, and Donna Kaufman of Youngstown, Ohio; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don & Leona Kaufman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Virginia Graves Colegrove; a brother, Gary Colegrove; and a granddaughter, his 'Brave Little Doe', Kaycee Rae Smith.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Pastor Donald Holtzapple and Pastor Eddie Bare. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of North Central Ohio.
