Thelma Hart

Thelma Marie Felix Hart, 99, of Mansfield, died Wednesday evening, June 22, 2005, at Woodlawn Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born August 3, 1905, in Newark, she was the daughter of Charles and Lola Jones Felix. Thelma had attended First Church of the Nazarene in Newark. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and reciting poetry.

She is survived by a son, Lonnie Boyers of Harrisonburg, Va.; daughter, Bonnie Long of Lexington; four grandchildren, Mitchell Phyllis Long of Elyria, Lynne M. Larry Moore of Mansfield, Karen Keeter and Kathy Brown, both of Virginia; four great-grandchildren, Raymond Smith, Corey Long, Julie Long, and Jennifer Adair; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Argall Boyers, second husband, William Hart, son-in-law, William Long, and daughter-in-law, Jean Boyers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, at 7:30 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, officiated by Rev. Joseph Payton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-7:30 p.m. Burial will be held Saturday, June 25, at 10:30 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery, Newark.
