

Thelma Irene Rupright Hill, age 87, of Mansfield, died Wednesday September 22, 2004 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home, following an extended illness. Mrs. Hill was born March 13, 1917 in Belmore, Ohio living in the Mansfield area since 1959 moving here from Defiance. She was former owner-operator of the Lincoln Plaza Motel of Mansfield. Mrs. Hill was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Helen Kochheiser Sunday school class and Friendly Fridays at the Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Mansfield City Councilman Michael III and Barbara L. Hill of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Michael IV and his wife Carrie Hill of Mansfield; Amy and her husband Richard Rasberry of Mansfield; and two great-grandsons, Michael Nelson V and Zayne Scott Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael N. Hill Jr. in January of 1980; a son, David W. Hill in October of 2000 and a sister, Genevieve Tigges in June of 2000.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 5-8 p.m and also one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Paul Larson. Burial will follow in Clymer Cemetery, Mt. Cory, Ohio on Monday September 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to First English Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
