
Thelma Louise Jones, 63, of Mansfield died Wednesday evening, July 10, 2002 at her home following an extended illness. Louise died in the presence and care of her loved ones. She was born November 7, 1938 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Sherman and Laura Berry Argo and lived most of her life in the Mansfield area. Louise was an active and fun-loving person who lived her life to the fullest. She was a member of the Lincoln Heights Baptist Church and retired from the Prudential Insurance Company of Mansfield in 1991.
Louise is survived by her mother, Laura Berry Argo of Crestline, Ohio; two sons and daughters-in-law, Martin and Cathy Blamer of Mansfield and David and Diane Jones of Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Louise adored her four grandchildren, Angela and Timothy Blamer of Mansfield and Zachary and Hannah Jones of Mt. Gilead and her great-granddaughter, Desirae Hall of Mansfield. In addition, she is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Richard Griffeth of Columbus, Ohio, Mary and Glen Shifley of Galion, Ohio, Ruth and Calvin Beach of New Washington, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Melba Argo of Scottsdale, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends; and a very dear friend, Bobbie Sanders. Her father, Sherman Argo, her loving son, Kenneth Edward Blamer and long-time companion, Charles Allen Robertson, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, July 14 from 1-4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 10:30 a.m. and will be conducted by Pastor Mike Wilson. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
