Theodore 'Tedo' K. White, 87, of Mansfield died Wednesday afternoon, May 15, 2002 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home. Tedo was born August 20, 1914 in Jackson, Ohio and was an area resident until the 1970s, returning 3 years ago. Tedo graduated from Jackson High School and attended Ohio University. He was employed as a Division Manager with Columbia Gas. He attended the First Methodist Church in Jackson and was a former member of Westbrook Country Club and the Elks Lodge. Tedo was a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Linda White; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Chuck Riepenhoff and Sandra and Tommy Johnson; four grandchildren, Christopher White, Melissa White, Allison Riepenhoff, and Meghann Riepenhoff. His wife, June White preceded him in death.
There will be no calling hours observed. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
