

Tom grew up in the Johnstown area, graduating from Johnstown Monroe High School, then moved to Mansfield. Tom was an entrepreneur and was involved in many area businesses. He owned Belcher's Cement for eight years, Belcher's House of Rock for 11 years, he was currently in a partnership with Orange Street Market, and was the former owner of Zigs Dairy Stand. Tom loved muscle cars, motorcycles, fixing up cars, and collecting coins.
Tom always enjoyed being with people and making them laugh. Generous, kind, hard working, jovial and a joker are just a few adjectives that describe him. Tom loved his family more than anything.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Marjorie (Meyer) Belcher of Mansfield; two sons, Matthew Ryan Belcher and Thomas Walter Belcher, both of Mansfield; mother, Dianna (Alec) Thomson of Heath, OH; a little girl who held a special place in his heart, Abrianna; two sisters, Tina Queen of Newark and Ruthann Clark of West Virginia; brothers, Walter James "Jim" Belcher of Alexandria, OH, Keith Belcher of WV and William "Bill" Belcher of WV; many aunts, uncles, and cousins in FL, MO, WV, and OH; many nieces and nephews; a close niece, Angela Fulk; close great niece, Mackenzie; close great nephews, Collin and Kaden; and his three dogs, Rupert, Olivia, and Angel Belcher.
Tom is preceded in death by his father Walter Belcher; two brothers, Roger and Jerry Belcher; mother-in-law, Norma Meyer; close aunt Pauline Beka; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 from 5:00-9:00 pm at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street Mansfield. Services will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 am also at the Diamond Street Home, with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
