

Thomas Anthony Fittante, II, 46, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born December 15, 1969, in Salem, Ohio, to Thomas Anthony Fittante and Beverly Ann (Arthurs) Fittante.
Tom grew up in New Waterford and played basketball for Crestview High School. He graduated from Grove City College in Pennsylvania in 1992. He was the Assistant Vice President-Senior Infrastructure Manager for Huntington National Bank Corporation in Columbus, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoyed playing and coaching volleyball and traveling extensively with his family.
Tom was an amazing husband to his wife of almost 20 years, Melissa (Koerner) Fittante. They made the decision to share their love and lives with Eliana, for whom they traveled to China in 2010, to become a forever family. Eliana was the joy of Tom's world and he was so proud of the little girl she has become. He was a great son and best friend to his dad. A quiet, kind, compassionate man, his legacy of love will be remembered by all the lives he touched.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Fittante; treasured daughter, Eliana Mei Fittante; parents, Thomas and Beverly Fittante; parents-in-law, Ray and Sandy Koerner; sister-in-law, Yvette (Heath) Blickenderfer-Close; paternal grandmother, Cecilia Fittante; and nieces and nephews, Mikayla, Anthony, Jackson, Alayna and Morgan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Danean Delinski; paternal grandfather, Anthony Fittante; and maternal grandparents, Willard and Ruth Arthurs.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be recited Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 104 W. First St., Mansfield. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.
