Tom was a graduate of Malabar High School. A loving husband and father, a fiercely loyal friend, and the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. Tom was the rock of his family and lit up the room when he walked in. He was outspoken in the best way, never afraid to speak his mind.
Hard-working and determined, Tom didn’t believe in shortcuts — unless it was to beat traffic on his Harley. A proud owner of several bikes over the years, the rumble of a Harley was basically his theme song. Later in life, he enjoyed his 1967 GTO. He also belonged to a biker friend group called the Survivors.
He ran and owned a local machine shop, KMP Classic Arms and Karma Metal Products. Tom enjoyed going to Civil War re-inactments, shooting, cooking, gardening, and sitting on the front porch with a drink in his hand watching the birds and squirrels. He enjoyed camping and being in nature and trips to Jamaica.
He was incredibly generous, especially with his time and energy.
Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Taska; daughter Brittney Taska; sons Kristopher Taska and Justin Taska; grandchildren, Sierrah Taska, Trevor Taska, Cortney Taska, and Leiam Taska; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Ogle and Isabell Canter; and his grand dog, Marshmellow, AKA Shit Head and numerous loved family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karel and Mary (Zajack) Taska.
