Toni Scott

Toni R. Scott, 56, of Mansfield, died Friday, September 13, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born May 17, 1957, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Royal H. and Annie M. (Carter) Hoagland, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Mansfield, retiring from Liqui-Box after 25 years.

She is survived by her children, Cire of Columbus, Ohio, Eric (Stephanie) of the U.S. Army, Troy, Ariel, Asia, and Roy Scott, Dominique Marshall all of Mansfield, and Monique Hoagland of Virginia Beach, Virginia; seven sisters, Helen (Clinton, Sr.) Martin and Annette Hoagland of Cleveland, Ohio, Carlene Dansby of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jenise (Don) Hoagland-White and Lena Hoagland both of Mansfield, Wendy Hoagland of Akron, Ohio, and Lorretta Hoagland of Atlanta, Georgia; a brother, Royal H. Hoagland, Jr. of Mansfield; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sam Scott, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home of Toni’s sister, Jenise Hoagland-White, 248 Harker Street (after 4:00 p.m.) until Friday.
