

Tonya Kay Dennison, 34, of Mansfield, OH died December 7, 2013 in Columbus, OH. Born on July 17, 1979, she was the daughter of Debbie Lester. Mansfield Cemetery was her backyard and as a young girl, she loved playing with her friend Rachelle (Gates) Coleman in the cemetery. Tonya was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and worked as a technician for an energy technology company. A generous person who was always thinking of others, Tonya spent most of her life in Mansfield. She enjoyed cooking and baking, playing on the computer, scrap booking, spending time on facebook, and following the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tonya attended Abundant Life Tabernacle.
Surviving are husband, Paul Dennison of Mansfield; step-daughter, Ashlie Dennison of Mansfield; step-son, Deven Dennison of Mansfield; mother, Debbie Lester of Mansfield; brothers, Richard and Charles, both of Mansfield; sisters, Susan and Bay, both of Mansfield; brother-in-law, Gary of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Leslie of Columbus; mother-in-law, Brenda Smith of Mansfield; and many nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Tonya was preceded in death by her PaPaw, Harmon Evans; MaMaw, Zelma (Gollihue) Evans; Uncle "Smokey"; and father-in-law, Waitman Smith.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 4-8p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Funeral services, conducted by Pastor Rob Yanok, will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
