

Tyler “Ty Ty” Michael Peyton, 15, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. He was born December 27, 1996 in Columbus, Ohio to Flemmon Harris and Lisa Rene Peyton.
Tyler’s smile was contagious and inviting. Living with cerebral palsy wasn’t easy, but Tyler had a special way of expressing his love and happiness to his family. He was currently home schooled through Mansfield City Schools.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Lisa Peyton and father, Flemmon Harris, both of Mansfield; brother, Javian Adkins of Mansfield; step sister, Yolanda Harris of New Orleans, LA; grandmother, Brenda Smith of Mansfield; step grandmother, Loretta Peyton of Mansfield; uncle, Jason Peyton of Mansfield; special friend, Matt Adkins, who was like a father to Tyler; and his wonderful, loving teacher, Dana Byrd.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Lee Peyton and Medear and Jimmy Harris; step grandfather, Roy Smith; and aunt, Earma Jean Harris.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Friends may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. The family will also receive friends at their residence, 851 King St. Contributions in memory of Tyler’s wonderful spirit may be made to the family.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Raintree, all the girls at Central Star, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital for the wonderful care given to Tyler.
