
Vilmos 'Bill' Nemeth, 82, of Mansfield, died July 15, 2005, at his home after a brief illness. Born October 25, 1922, in Vassurany, Hungary, he was the son of Istvan and Franciska Janzso Nemeth. He was a Mansfield area resident since 1952 and retired from Taylor Metal Products. Vilmos was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, woodworking and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Juliane Bitsch Nemeth; daughter, Juliane Brewer of Mansfield; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Kathryn Nemeth of Englewood, Ohio; four grandchildren, Justin Brewer, Natalie Brewer, Heather Nemeth and Erica Nemeth; two great-grandchildren, Abigail Brewer and Noah Brewer; numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Terez Nemeth and Elisabeth Lamp, both of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Norbert Nemeth; and four brothers, Istvan, Geza, Sandor and Ferenc.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, July 17, from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Lon McSherley. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio or Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard Solove Research Institute.
