Violet Watson

Violet Grace Watson was born on Tuesday morning, June 24, 2014 and went home to be with Jesus. Her little life was a gift from God and brought great joy to her parents, family and friends, who are heartbroken, but not hopeless.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted

and saves the crushed in spirit.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous,

but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:18-19

She is survived by her parents, Zach and Jillian Watson of Ashland; a big brother, Oliver Watson; maternal grandparents, Ron and Jeannie Firestone of Mansfield; paternal grandparents, Mike and Karen Watson of Brimfield, OH; maternal great-grandparents, Jim and Louise Smith of Jeromesville and paternal great-grandmother, Delores Piotter of Brimfield. She also leaves behind four uncles: Ryan Firestone, his wife, Sara, and their children, Emryn, Kinsley and Reese, all of Hilliard; Jesse Watson of Brimfield; Nathan Watson of Brimfield; and Chase Watson of Asheville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Robert Firestone and Dorothy Firestone McDowell; and paternal great-grandparents, Donald Piotter and Ralph and Doris Watson.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery.
