
Wilbur 'Lee' Bosh, 72, of Mansfield, died Wednesday evening, January 18, 2006, at his home following an extended illness. Born October 22, 1933, in Marion, Ohio, he was the son of Harrison Ellsworth and Elva Earl Bosh. A Mansfield area resident most of his life, he was employed as a taxi driver with Service Taxi and also worked as a telemarketer for F.O.P. Lee had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes to his family and friends. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jo Hicks Bosh; sister, Sara Bosh Smith; nephew, Keith Smith and his family of Mansfield; father-in-law, Clarence Hicks of Mansfield; brother-in-law, Tom Hicks and his wife, Phyllis of Mansfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers, and mother-in-law, Pearlie Hicks.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors with Pastor John Dodds of Ridgeway Church of God officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
