

William "Bill" Warren Caudill, 85, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Hospice House in Ashland. He was born in Jacobs, Kentucky on February 5, 1928 one of eleven children of the late Willie and Georgann (Goodan) Caudill.
He retired from General Motors after 25 years of service. Bill enjoyed antiques, garage sales and spending his retirement years doing anything and everything that gave him pleasure.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Catron Caudill; daughter, Debra Caudill (Chris Ujvari) of Mansfield; son, Douglas Caudill of Mansfield; granddaughter, Kristine Caudill of Indianapolis, IN; two great-grandchildren and one on the way; six brothers, Harold, Junior, George "Frosty", Harless, Wayne and Elwood; two sisters, Evelyn Caudill and Caroline Clark; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Denville and Roger.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park with Pastor Phil Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
