Bill grew up in Reedsburg and was a 1975 graduate of Hillsdale High School. He has resided in the Mansfield area for the past 19 years and had worked for Madison High School in the maintenance department. He thoroughly enjoyed being busy and working, whether it be at one of his many jobs or maintaining his home. Bill also enjoyed working on guns, woodcarving, fishing and working on cars and houses.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debra Collins; his children, Richard McDougale, Bobby Glenn Collins and Elizabeth Collins; grandson, Axel Collins; his parents, Juanita and Jim Collins; his siblings, Joyce (Greg) Weber, James Collins, Janice (Phil) Buzzard and Jennifer Harper; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Glenn Collins and a brother, Bobby Collins.
There will be no services at this time.
