
William E. Eyerly, 61, of 961 Lenox Ave. died Monday morning, July 15, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield after a brief illness. Mr. Eyerly was born July 27, 1940 in Mansfield, Ohio living in the area all of his life. He retired from Armco Steel after 35 years and was an active member of the United Steel Workers of America #169. He attended Wyandotte Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Eyerly had belonged to the Madison Township Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Suzette 'Suzy' Bucher Eyerly of Mansfield; three daughters, Emilie E., Carrie E. and Bethanie E. Eyerly, all of Mansfield; a son, Tyler E. Eyerly of Mansfield; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard E. Eyerly of Shiloh and David E. & Edna Eyerly of Lexington; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert D. & Linda K. Bucher of Loudonville; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy & David Banks of Lucas; several nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Kathy Sue & Herb Marine of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur E. & Grace McNaul Eyerly; two sisters, Mary Ellen Rider and Dorothy E. Smith; a sister-in-law, Paticia A. Eyerly; a beloved nephew, Tim Eyerly; and his father-in-law, Robert J. Bucher.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Brian Phillips. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandotte Free Will Baptist Church.
