
William E. Lee, Sr., 64 of Mansfield died unexpectedly, Monday afternoon, June 17, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Mr. Lee was born May 3, 1938 in New Plymouth, Ohio and was an area resident all his life. He retired in August 2001 from Hi-Stat Manufacturing where he was employed in the maintenance department. William was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed working on mopeds, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren. William loved having his family all together.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Eldridge Lee; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard Evin, Sr. and Aura Lee of Fort Bragg, N. Carolina and William Eugene Lee, Jr. of Mansfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Michael Breneman and Michelle and Larry Hively, all of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Gregory Lee, Stacy Hively, Richard E. Lee, Jr., Danielle Breneman, Luisa Jane Lee, and Jason Hively; four sisters and their spouses, Janet and Jack Collins, Pamela and Duane Picklesimer, Wanda Benedict and Linda and Homer Sevits; three brothers and their spouses, Roger Lee, Larry and Talma Lee, and Michael and Marcia Lee; special friends, Larry and Cathy Hively, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evin and Rosalie May Haas Lee, sister, Patricia McDermott and nephew, Ronald McDermott, Jr.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to graveside services, which will be held, Thursday, June 20 at 4:00 p.m. at Franklin Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Raymond Lee.
