William "Bill" C. Manning

Bill was the Operating Engineer at J.A. King Corp. of Medina for 40 years. He was a member of Shelby Freewill Baptist Church. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and being outside in nature. Bill married the love of his life, Libby Austin, and they shared 59 years of marriage together. Bill's family was most important to him and he created many special lasting memories with all of them.

He is survived by his wife, Libby Manning; three sons, Daniel (Lynette) Manning of Crestline, Rick (Donna) Manning of Charleston, WV and Robert (Alicia) Manning of Mount Gilead; six grandchildren, Danielle, Angie, Bob Jr., Mike, Rick Jr. and Cheree; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; a brother, Ora Manning of IN; and several nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his mother, Essie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Chaplain Dan Clouse will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park immediately following the service.
