He grew up in the Springfield, Ohio area. He was a Mansfield Senior High graduate and was in the United States Marine Corps for five years. He was married to Sharon K. (Workman) McQuillen for 52 years, and enjoyed spending time with her, until her passing in 2015.
Bill loved to golf, watching old war movies and spending time with his family. He worked at Stone Container as a plant superintendent for 42 years. He loved keeping busy, working part time after retirement, driving at Apple Lane Transportation and Mansfield Motor Group.
Bill is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Joe) Nedrow and Kimberly (Joseph) Clark; three grandchildren, Autumn (David) James, April (Tom) Ebert, Travis Nedrow; great grandchildren, Jacob Clark, Ethan James and Brooklyn James; great great-grandson, Oliver Clark; special cousin, Shirlene (Ed) Poth; numerous sister-in-laws and a brother-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his wife, brother Thomas McQuillen, and his parents.
Per Bill’s wishes, no services will be held.
