William A. Pfeifer, 94, of 431 Orchard Park Rd. died January 11, 2000 at Lexington Court Manor following a brief illness. Mr. Pfeifer was born December 20, 1905 in Washington Township residing in the Mansfield area all of his life. He was a member of Hilltop Community Church on German Church Road.
Surviving are his wife, Anna May Berry Pfeifer; three sons and daughters-in-law, Willis & Carolee Pfeifer of Rockport, Texas; Stanley & Ruby Pfeifer of Bellville, Ohio; and Paul & Nola Pfeifer of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Mary Pfeifer.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday January 13, 2000 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday 10:30 a.m. January 14, 2000 at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Curtiss H. Wagner. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
