
Wilma M. Osbun, 79, of Mansfield, died late Sunday evening, July 31, 2005, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a long illness. Born April 16, 1926, in Hardy, Nebraska, she was the daughter of John and Vera Morton Pedersen. Wilma lived in the Mansfield area most of her adult life and retired from Sears. She was a member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and Amaranth. She attended Ontario United Methodist Church and volunteered at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
She is survived by five children and their spouses, John C. Osbun of Columbus, Kennon L. and Vicki Osbun of Cardington, Patricia L. and Christopher Fisher of Rochester, Mich., Melinda and Mick O'Donnell and Evan and Vickie Osbun, all of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margaret Haynie and Ethel Lee, both of Mansfield and Ellen Lanham of Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard Osbun, three sisters, Mable, Christina and Clara, and two brothers, Donald and Ray.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 3 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. James Winkler. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
