Wilma Snyder

Wilma Jane Snyder, 87, of Mansfield, died Saturday, April 03, 2010 at MedCentral. Born June 29, 1922 in Bucyrus, she was the daughter of James and Hazel O'Brien Rizer. A 1940 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Wilma went on to retire in 1983 from Mansfield City Schools where she worked in food service. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Suzie Snyder of Mansfield and Don Allen Gayle Snyder of Shiloh; grandchildren, Ben and Renee Kunkel, Amanda and Jeff McCoy, Matt Snyder, Sara Snyder, Zach and Kristie Massa, Aaliyah Snyder, and Noah Snyder; great grandchildren, Brennan, Schuyler, Lilianna, and Sawyer Kunkel, Dryden McCoy, Renville Snyder, Calieo and Hazeleen Snyder, Keenen Snyder, Julian Valdry, and Hayden Valdry; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Barnes and Barbara L. Pritchard, both from Cincinnati; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Snyder, and three sisters, Shirley Merschdorf, Margaret Phillips, and Johanna Rizer.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mrs. Snyder.
