Wyoma Wert

Wyoma Adkins Rock Wert, 61, of Mansfield, OH died August 6, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 31, 1938 in North Fairfield, OH to Russel & Ithel Adkins, living in Mansfield most of her life. Mrs. Wert was a loving, dedicated mother as well as a best friend, who has passed on to be with God. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Mayflower United Church of Christ.

Mrs. Wert is survived by her mother, Ithel Minnix Adkins; three son's and two daughters-in-law, Raymond Pete Wert II of Mansfield, Tim & Julie Rock and Bob & Shelly Rock of Utah; Five daughters and a son-in-law, Vickie Rock, Sharon and Brian Dorion, Marla Wert, Stacey Baumberger all of Mansfield, Melanie Rock of Ashland; five brothers, Roger Adkins of Oklahoma, Dustin Adkins, Randy Adkins both of Mansfield, and Lanny and Gary Adkins of Utah; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Raymond N. Wert Sr. who passed Oct. 21, 1999; her father, Russ Adkins; a sister, Carolyn Brothers; a daughter, Carla Wert; three grandchildren, Eric Rodman, Robert Rock Jr. and Rachel Rock.

Friends may call the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, August 9, 2000 from 6-9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home August 10, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. James Cecil Flemming. Burial will be held on Raymond and Wyoma's 31st Wedding Anniversary at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
