
Zackary Dann Zickefoose, 24, of 201 N. Franklin St., Ashley, Ohio died unexpectedly Friday, November 2, 2001 at OSU Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Zack was born November 17, 1976 in Shelby, Ohio living in the Lucas area most of his life. He attended Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine where he was class student council representative and a member of SCAVMA {Student Chapter American Veterinary Medical Association and the Milking Team. Zack graduated from Lucas High School in 1995. He attended Roberts Wesleyan College and graduated from Ohio State University in 2000. He was a member of the Ontario Free Methodist Church and former member of 4-H and the Lucas FFA. He loved outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. Zack went home to be with his Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Marie Steveline Zickefoose of Ashley, Ohio; his parents, Danny R. & Linda Owens Zickefoose of Lucas; two sisters, Danel Raena Zickefoose of Mansfield and Casandra Lin Zickefoose of Lucas; her father and mother-in-law, Rev. David & Alma B. Steveline of Clinton, Mississippi; two brothers-in-law, Michael Steveline of Columbus and Jonathan Steveline of Clinton, Mississippi; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many good friends and church family. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Glen & Betty Zickefoose and his maternal grandparents, Harry & Mary Owens.
Friends may call at the Ontario Free Methodist Church, corner of Fourth Street and Willowood Drive, Monday from 4-6 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Jerry Mitchell, Rev. David Steveline and Pastor Robert Beaty. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario Free Methodist Church Scholarship Fund in memory of Zack. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
