Alba Luisa Garcia

Alba Luisa Garcia, age 72, passed away peacefully due to complications from breast cancer treatment on October 23, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on June 21, 1952, in Nogales, Arizona, to Jesus and Virginia Aguilar who, along with sisters Soledad Aguilar and Rose Echeverria preceded her in death. Alba is survived by her devoted husband, Henry; her daughter, Candice Garcia-Decker and her husband Paul; sons, Aaron J. Garcia, and Henry G. Garcia; her cherished granddaughters, Liana and Julia Garcia; her best friends Maria Castillo and Rosalia Alegria; and her many beloved cousins .

Alba’s legacy is one of love, laughter, resilience, and quiet strength. Her family and friends will remember her for her unwavering support, immeasurable faith, her slow eating, love of music, and her unforgettable laugh and smile. Although she is no longer with us, we will be guided and comforted by her memory and lovingly cherish the time she spent with us. A private service will be held to honor Alba’s life, and her family wishes to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy during this difficult time. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave to others.
