

Charles William (Bill) Palmer, 84, passed away peacefully in his home on April 09, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Charles, who preferred the name Bill, was born on 5/22/1937 to Albert and Evelyn Palmer in East Liverpool, OH.
Bill joined the USAF when he was 17 years old, he loved his country and was extremely proud to honor, serve and protect it. He made the Air Force his career.
He started his career as a hydraulic mechanic on aircraft and eventually aspired to Air intelligence. While in the Air Force he lived in England, Washington, Wyoming, Texas, and Arizona. While stationed in Tucson, Arizona he met and married Venita, his wife of 63 years. Unfortunately, his military career was cut short after serving 17 years, by an accident that left him medically unable to continue his military Career.
After retiring from the Military, Bill and his family settled in Tucson, AZ where he started and completed a new career. Bill felt that one of the most important things in life was spending time with his family and friends, whether it was boating, hunting, fishing, or camping, he was always taking his family on adventures and making sure his children had the best that life had to offer. He was an amazing father, brother, husband, and friend and will be missed by all that knew him.
Bill is predeceased by his son David Palmer; his parents; and his sisters, Janie Schmidt (Palmer) And Karen Sioux (Palmer)
Bill is survived by his wife, Venita; children, Keith Palmer, Tamara Baker (Palmer) and Denise Kleimola (Palmer), fourteen grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren; his Brother Jerry Palmer; and sister Bertie Schwartz.
A memorial to honor Bill will be held on April 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Marana Mortuary 12146 W Barnett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653
