Charles Lincoln Licurse was born to Carman and Mary in the great state of New York. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Navy. He continued to proudly serve his country for years to come. Not only as a United States Sailor, but also as a civil servant for over 30 years. Charles retired from the U.S. Navy in the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
During his early years, Charles and his first wife had four children together. They grew up, married, and brought 17 grandchildren into Charles' life as well as 5 great grandchildren, two of which are currently being carried by his granddaughters in utero.
Charles taught his children and others his great work ethic, attention to detail, and the importance of doing a job right the first time. Charles loved classic cars and restored his 1967 RS Camaro meticulously.
Charles was married to his second wife Cynthia for 20 years. They spent these years together pre and post retirement dancing, singing Karaoke, as well as traveling around the United States and to several countries.
Cynthia took care of Charles in his last few months of life while he courageously fought cancer. Charles will be greatly missed as he was loved by his wife and family. May you rest in peace sir. Thank you for everything....
