Gary Dean Knight ("Noche") died at age 75 after enjoying his favorite meal and an evening view of the Push Ridge Mountains with his beloved Linda (Todd) on March 11, 2020. Gary was born at the Stork's Nest in Tucson, Arizona on September 17,1944. He was a graduate of San Manuel High School and attended the University of Arizona. Noche served in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970, serving during the Vietnam War. Gary worked construction and retired from the BHP Mine in San Manuel, Arizona. In his later years, he kept busy following grandchildren from fields/gyms, to shooting ranges, to music and dance recitals. Noche was an avid game player, especially dominoes and cards, and loved to win! With his wife of 16 years (Debbie Hughes) he had three children. He was the beloved father to Angie Knight, Mindy Knight Marlow (Blake), and Tanner Knight. He was the proud Papa to Noah and Charlotte Marlow. They made his heart smile and he filled their life with love. What relation he didn't have by blood, he had by heart with the family of Linda Todd (David & Kim Todd, Shari & Jim Attebery). For 16 years he was the cherished "Grandpa Noche" to Colton, Ryan, and Kaytie Todd and Samm Attebery. Family will receive friends at his home on Wednesday, March 18th from 3:00-6:00 pm to celebrate his life. Please wear your favorite piece of silver or turquoise to honor Gary and his appreciation of Indian jewelry.
