Gloria Reynaga Zepeda, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the age of 88.
Gloria was born on March 20, 1938, in Jerome Arizona but spent most of her life in Tucson, where she built a life centered on love, faith, and friendship. She maintained lifelong bonds with her Jr. high school classmates, treasuring the monthly gatherings they shared—filled with laughter, meals, music and stories of days gone by.
Gloria was a woman who found joy in life’s simple blessings. She loved dancing, music, tacos, Mexican sweet bread, and long conversations on the phone with her many dear friends. Although her greatest joy was her family. She deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought pride and happiness to her life.
Above everything, Gloria loved the Lord. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she faithfully served her church whenever she could. After retiring from a career in banking, Gloria continued to live a life of service by becoming a caregiver, compassionately caring for elderly members of her community while also helping in the church.
Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul M. Zepeda.
She leaves behind her three children: Paul D Zepeda, Lorraine (Michael) Armenta, and Grace (George) Garcia; as well as nine grandchildren: Kristyna Hubler, Brittany Vaio, Alexis Garcia, Lorraine Marie White, Victoria Armenta, Valentine Zepeda, Erik Amundsen, Jordan Pituch, and Jacklyn Amundsen; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
Gloria will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering faith, vibrant spirit, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and surely dancing joyfully in the presence of the Lord.
