

Gregory Peck, age 62, passed away on June 25, 2024, in Houston, Texas. He was born on August 31, 1961, in Fontana, California. He lived most of his exciting and fulfilling life in California's Inland Empire and recently moved to Marana, Arizona.
Gregory was a dedicated and hardworking individual. He completed his education at Chaffey College, California State University Fullerton, and Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor's degree and teaching credential. He had a remarkable 37-year career as a science teacher, primarily at Upland High School, where his impact expanded to students and staff alike.
Gregory had a passion for helping others in any way he could, often becoming a father figure to many. As an active member in his church community, his helpful nature extended to years of involvement in ministry through youth programs, mission trips, family groups, and mens’ groups. Even with his busy schedule he found time for the things that brought joy to his heart. His love for the great outdoors and paddleboarding was well-known among his family and friends, as he would include them in his many adventures.
Gregory's greatest joy was his family. Gregory is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of nearly 37 years, Shelly Peck; his sister, Cynthia Steuben; and his children, Rachel Pawling, Cody Peck, and Kassaundra Bricker. He was also a cherished father-in-law to Nathan Pawling and Joshua Bricker. Gregory's joy was further multiplied by his granddaughters, Eleanor and Samantha Pawling.
Gregory's warmth, intelligence, and lively spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in his life's journey.
