He was a quiet creator, a patient teacher, a loving father, and a kind soul—an architect, musician, modeler, lecturer, athlete, intellectual, and optimistic cook. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Vettore; his son, Logan Barnes; his sister, Dolores (Warren) Seames; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private for close family. A celebration of life is being planned for October, with details to follow.
