

Sebrian “Benny” Wesley, a beloved figure in Denver, Colorado passed away on April 22, 2026 in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his two sons, Richard and Brian Wesley, and his three grandchildren, Kamryn, Caden, and Alexander Wesley.
Born in Conway, Arkansas, Ben Wesley’s parents were Artie Bernice Wesley (Mattison) and Sebrian Wesley. When Ben was just a year old, his family relocated to Denver, Colorado, following his father’s service with the Navy during World War II.
Ben’s athletic prowess shone through as he excelled as a basketball player at Manuel Arts High School. In 1958, he was honored with the prestigious High School Player of the Year award by the Denver Basketball Writers and Broadcasters Association. After graduating from Manuel Arts, Ben served in the Army before pursuing his passion for basketball at Regis University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Post-graduation, Ben joined the Worldwide Church of God, where he met Linda Childress, another church member. Their love blossomed, leading to their marriage in 1967. Ben further honed his theological knowledge by earning another bachelor’s degree in theology from Ambassador College in Pasadena. Driven by his faith, he embarked on a missionary journey with the Worldwide Church of God, spreading the word of God in the American South and Bermuda.
Throughout his life, Ben dedicated himself to the marketing industry. He held positions at Xerox, IBM, and R & R Donnelly, and even served as a District Manager for Coors Brewing Company in Southern California. Following his lifelong ambition, Ben founded his own advertising company, Wesley Advertising, in 1990. Until the very end, he remained an entrepreneurial spirit, constantly brainstorming innovative business ideas.
Ben Wesley’s legacy will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
