

Thomas L. Arbogast, 82, of Tucson, Arizona passed away at home, November 30, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Tom was born in Warren, Ohio and attended Warren G Harding High School, and graduated from The University of Cincinnati, as a Mechanical Engineer. He was employed by Inland Steel Harbor Works in East Chicago, Indiana both as mechanical engineer for 30 yrs & then as a consultant for 5 yrs.
He is survived by his wife Karen, sister Suzanne (Bob) Riffle of Holly Hills, Florida, sister-in-law Judi Kampe, Illinois, his 3 children Bob (Kim) Arbogast, Albers, Illinois, Shari (Michael) Melvin, Marana, Arizona, Tami (Steve) Korasidas, Oro Valley, Arizona. Also his grandchildren Missy (Jake), Tommy, Andy, Spencer (Alex), Natali (Andrew), and Tyler, great grandchildren Patience, Atlas, Mercy Mae, and Kennedy, and very cherished niece Robyn Arbogast, Cleveland, Ohio, as well as many other nieces & nephews. Also missing him is his cat 'da Bear'. He was preceded in death by his parents William ‘Ralph’ & Anna Mae Arbogast, his dear brother Dick Arbogast, and brother-in-law Ron Ciecierski.
He was baptized at the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, Warren Ohio and was a member of Lord of Grace Church, Tucson. He enjoyed living in Tucson these 23 years. Vacationing in Cancun at the Royal Resorts was something he always looked forward to. Also enjoyed attending NASCAR races, baseball games (Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks). He was a fan of the Five on Fox News. His 87 T-Bird and 2000 Corvette were entered in many car shows as part of the Door Slammers Car Club. He was known for his large collection of T-shirts, ball caps, shoes, and Bobble heads, and enjoyed reading the daily newspaper. He was the wise patriarch of the family. He will be greatly missed.
If desired, donations can be made to one of his favorite charities Tunnels 2 Towers, Wounded Warriors, or charity of choice.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date, possibly spring 2025.
