Billy Pounds, 83 of Spicewood Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 18th, 2019. He was lovingly known to everyone as B.B. He was born on September, 15th, 1936 in Iraan, Texas. He met the love of his life Faye in Ft. Stockton, Tx and they married on March 10th, 1972. They had 44 wonderful years together.
B.B. had many adventures in life. He was a commercial pilot, flight instructor, crop duster, manager of the Pro Shop at the Pecos County Municipal Golf Course and retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in October 2004. Shortly after retiring they moved to Central Texas to be closer to family. B.B. enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, golf and his Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his daughter Rita Grimes and husband Rocky of Spicewood, Texas; daughter Debbie Schaeffer and husband Randy of Wichita, Kansas; sister Pat Callender and husband Ed of Wichita Falls, Texas; sister Alyce Gooch of Big Lake, Texas; brother L.H. Pounds and wife Susie of Rockwall, Texas; grandchildren Misty, Michael, Brandi, Amy and Brandon; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.
B.B. was preceded in death by his wife Faye Pounds; parents Leonard and Daisy Pounds and Jewell Weldon; brother Lewis Pounds and son Randall Pounds.
Visitation is being held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home located at 1805 Hwy 281 North, Marble Falls, Texas on November, 23rd from 11am-1pm, graveside services will follow at the Marble Falls City Cemetery located at 400 South Ave S. Intersection of Ave S and Johnson St.
