Sam and all of Cheryl’s family
We are so sad and lost over Cheryl’s death. She was a beautiful person in many ways. Always with a smile and a hug. We had a lot of fun in Mexico together and I was always so glad to see her. We never know how fast things can happen. So we have to cherish every minute.
May it comfort you to know how many caring thoughts are with you at this sad time.
God Bless you!!

Cheryl lit up the room when she entered. Her smile was brilliant! I met her playing in the first Escondido Ladies Member-Guest. Instant friendship! She was such a welcoming, supportive, gracious individual. Always positive even when most would not be capable of handling the challenges she faced in her later years. She will be missed and always remembered. RIP beautiful lady.

Cheryl used to tell me I was the sister she never had. I have either seen Cheryl or talked to her everyday for the last 11 years. I moved to South Shore Harbor to be near Sam & Cheryl & then moved to Horseshoe Bay again to be near them. It will take me a long time to get over her not being here. I miss her so much. But I know that she is in a better place & with no pain. I have so many memories of golf, boating, family holidays etc. Love to Sambo, Brett & Shelly. Linda. Lou

So many fun rounds of golf with this pretty lady. And also incredibly sad to hear of this news.

Heaven just gained a beautiful angel. I first met Cheryl and Sam on a golf trip in Kona (of course, what other kind of trip would those two be on!). Her smile is so inviting that she quickly found out we were from Texas and a brand new friendship ensued. I don't think Cheryl has ever met a stranger, welcoming everyone into her heart. You will be greatly missed sweet CJ! Big, Big Hugs to you Sam. I am so sorry for your loss.

Much Love,
Debbie Dacus

Kindness with a big smile. This is the picture in my memory of Cheryl. I can only believe this to be a true reflection of the love from Sam and family. Love is the shared thread of a life well lived.
Peace to you.

What a beautiful woman to be around, inside and out! We’ve had so much fun playing golf with Cheryl and Sam. She was a great golfer, a sweet lady, with a funny sense of humor! Loved her smile! She will be missed. Our prayers are with you Sam Boyd! Much Love, Annette and Ernie Mayer

Such a beautiful lady has left us much too early. I remember the four of us winning a couples member guest at Summit Rock, What a fun day that was. We will miss her.
